High School: Femcke van Rensburg comes to Charleston Southern by way of Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Die Hoerskool Menlopark where she lined up under Coach Danie van Zyl. Van Rensburg led her team to a No. 3 ranking in the country. She was named the Junior Sportswoman of the Year and was the First Team Captain.

Personal: Van Rensurg is the daughter of Werner and Francien van Rensburg. She plans on pursuing a degree in Accounting.
