High School: Javenique McDowell was a three-time State finalist on the relay teams at North Miami Senior High School prior to joining the CSU recruiting class. The Miami, Fla. native finished ninth at the Florida State Track & Field Championships in the 800m. She was a member of the state champion 4x400m. Among her best marks include a 58.04 in the 400m, a 1:38.56 in the 600m, a 2:16.05 in the 800m, and a 5:16.65 in the 1600m.
