Ben Carroll was hired by Head Coach Chan Metts as an assistant coach in August of 2024 after a stellar five-year career with the Buccaneers from 2019-24. He will assist both the men's and women's golf teams.Â
Carroll received a plethora of accolades during his playing career for Charleston Southern, as he was Big South Freshman of the Year in 2021 and a Big South Honroable mention in 2022, helping the Buccaneers capture the Big South Championship and a spot in the NCAA Regionals. In 2023, he was First-Team All-Conference and helped the Buccaneers reach the Big South Championship once again.
Carroll received a business administration degree with a focus in management in December of 2023 from Charleston Southern. He is a native of Blacksburg, VA.
