Christi Rostin

Christi Rostin concluded her 11th season at Charleston Southern in 2018 and her fourth as associate head coach. Rostin works primarily with attack-minded players and positions during practice and games and took on a more overall hands-on approach with the team upon her promotion in 2015.

In addition to her on-field responsibilities, Rostin has a large role in team communication and day-to-day details in the office. She also works on organizing travel and training sessions and coordinates on-campus visits by prospects and recruiting in the states of South Carolina and North Carolina.

During her time wtih the Buccaneers, Rostin has been influential in developing attack-minded players such as Marky Boyce, who was a two-time Big South Player of the Year and National Soccer Coaches Association Southeast Region third team selection. Boyce ranks second in school history with 44 goals and 106 points. Toni Lashley (33 goals) and Michelle Dennis (31) are third and tied for fourth, respectively, in the CSU record book and were both all-conference selections. Rostin also helped develop Anna Sells into one of the top offensive players in school history and a three-time All-Big South honoree.

Rostin (formerly Arnold) is a homegrown product of the CSU system, enjoying a prolific playing career from 1997-2000 under head coach Eric Terrill. She played in 62 games with 41 starts during her career and ranks 13th in school history with 19 goals and tied for 14th with 43 points. She was named to the All-Big Souith team in 2000 and the conference's player of the week on September 11 of that season.

Rostin holds an NSCAA National Diploma and has coached in the South Carolina Olympic Development Program as well as serving as the head coach for SC United out of Mt. Pleasant.

Rostin is married to TJ Rostin and the couple are the parents of daughters Kayla and Harper.
