Curtis Stacey joined Charleston Southern in June of 2025 as a Director of Equipment Operations. In his role, he oversees the ordering, inventory, distribution and maintenance of all the Buccaneers' equipment for the baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, cross country, track & field women's soccer and volleyball programs.
Stacey arrives at CSU after spending the past two years as the assistant athletic equipment manager for Limestone University. In this role, he helped in equipment department for all sports on the campus with a primary focus being on football. His responsibilities included designing apparel and uniforms, maintaining equipment, managing inventory and routine laundry services.Â
Prior to that role he spent a summer interning with the Carolina Panthers in 2022. He aided in managing inventory and equipment for the organization as well as helped to set up and work the practices. Additionally, he prepared footballs and provided laundry services to players and coaches as well as assisted in managing the inventory systems. Stacey got his start in the industry as a student manager with Charleston Southern Football program in 2020 and eventually worked his way into the role of Head Student Assistant.Â
He graduated from Charleston Southern University with his bachelor's of arts in communications in May of 2023 and received a minor in christian studies as well.
