Jack Johnston joined Charleston Southern in August of 2025 as the Graduate Assistant for External Operations and in that role, he worked directly with the Associate A.D. for External Operations as well as the Assistant A.D. for Marketing and Fan Experience. In February of 2026, he moved into the role of Director of Compliance. In his current role, he oversees all institutional compliance matters including scholarship information, eligbility, transfers and recruiting. 

Johnston arrived after spending his final semester of undergrad in the Georgia Athletics Department in the Ticketing Office. In this role he assisted with making ticketing sales calls to potential guests and attended athletic events to support their ticketing operations. 

He also has gained experience working with the College Football National Championship on the Atlanta Host Committee for 2025. Additionally, he has worked as a team operations intern for the Winter Garden Squeeze of the Florida Collegiate Summer Baseball League and also as a sports media intern for the boy's basketball team at Prince Avenue Christian High School. 

He graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2025 with his Bachelor's of Science in Education with a concentration in Sports Management.Â
