Nathan Richards joined the Charleston Southern athletic staff in August 2024 as the Athletic Facilities/Events Assistant. Since joining, he has begun to oversee all event and practice scheduling for the athletic facilities.

He joined Charleston Southern after working as the Director of Football Operations for Valparaiso (2023-2024). Richards worked as the on campus recruiting coordinator for the program while managing all the logistics for the football team.
Additionally, he has gained experience working at Kennesaw State (2022-2023) as well as at New Mexico State (2017-2020) in their football operations and recruiting departments. He got his start in collegiate sports while he was a student at North Greenville serving on the football team and general athletic department.
He graduated from North Greenville in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Sport Professions. Richards received his Master of Sport Administration in 2022 from Georgia State University.
