The Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center is home to the Charleston Southern Buccaneers women's tennis program.
Situated in the back part of campus next to CSU Ballpark, the eight-court facility is home to the six-time Big South regular season champions and is one of the toughest facilities in the nation for a visiting team to pick up a win. Since the 2020 season, the Bucs are 53-15 on their home court.
During the summer of 2015, the Buccaneer Tennis Complex underwent an upgrade highlighted by a complete resurfacing of the facility. In the summer fo 2025, new court benches and Bucky head logos were added between each of the courts to enhance the playing experience.
The facility was dedicated to Gary Clark Banks Sr. on Feb. 20, 1988 after the late Joseph W. Holliday of Gallivants Ferry and the Banks family of Summerville invested significantly in the development of the college’s tennis center.
