High School: Ran for coach Corey Poole at Lincoln High School…Placed third as a senior in the 110-meter hurdles at the 3A state championship, turning in a time of 14.56 seconds…Won the 110-hurdles at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic, hosted by the University of Florida, recording a career-best time of 14.13 seconds…Was named MVP of Lincoln''s team as a senior, and earned 1st Team All-Big Bend accolades…Also achieved personal bests of 40.59 seconds in the 300-hurdles, and 3:20.89 as part of school''s 4x400 relay team.
Personal: Son of Kent and Kimberly Taylor…Also competed in football at Lincoln, playing extensively at wide receiver and defensive back en route to earning All-Big Bend First Team honors…Plans to major in business administration at CSU.
