Cade Rowland joined Charleston Southern as a graduate assistant working with the wide receivers in the summer of 2024. The 2025 season will mark his second with the Buccaneers since his addition.
Rowland arrives in Charleston after spending the past five years in the football program at Liberty. He was a wide receiver for the Flames from 2019-2021 winning a bowl game each of those seasons with two in the Cure Bowl and the third in the Lending Tree Bowl. He became a student assistant in the 2022 season and helped the team to an appearance in the Boca Raton Bowl. In the fall of 2023, Rowland was a key member of the group that finished the year with a 13-1 record, Conference USA Championship and New Year's Six Bowl game appearance with the Fiesta Bowl.
Originally, he is from Santa Rose Beach, Florida and attended South Walton HS as a two-sport athlete playing football and basketball. While there, he earned multiple awards from state publications between each of the sports. He graduated from Liberty University with his bachelor's of science in sport management in May of 2023 with a minor in business.
