The CSU Softball Complex is home to the Charleston Southern Buccaneers softball team. The complex includes two covered batting cages, a team facility and meeting room, coaches offices and the CSU Softball Field.

Located near the heart of campus, the natural grass field hosts several annual CSU softball tournaments, featuring elite competition from across the country, including national runner-up Tennessee in 2013. The 250-seat facility also features premium seating down the baselines, as well as grandstand seating behind home plate.

Recent additions to the facility showcase the continued improvements including lights that were added for the 2019 season. The facility also boasts a press box, coaches’ offices and team room were finished in the fall of 2012, and are a welcome game-day addition to enhancing the overall experience of taking in CSU Softball.

Dimensions of the field are 215 feet from foul pole to foul pole, providing the Bucs one of the more pitcher friendly venues in the Big South Conference. An inning-by-inning scoreboard is beyond the fence in left centerfield, giving fans a breakdown of the scoring in the game. Straightaway centerfield features a camera stand for streaming select CSU games courtesy of the Big South Network.
