After half, the Buccaneers took the lead back on an eight-yard touchdown run by Collin Drafts, capping a seven-play, 60-yard drive for CSU. With the third quarter coming to an end, North Greenville tried to answer back, opting for a third try from the one-yard line instead of a game-tying field goal, the Buccaneer defense held and kept the lead at 13-10 for the moment.

The Buccaneers expanded their lead on a two-play, 80-yard drive with a 72-yard completion to Clayton Coffman and an 8-yard touchdown run by Drafts.
