CHARLESTON, S.C. - Postgame quotes are available from Charleston Southern Head Coach Barclay Radebaugh after his team's 94-66 win over Southeastern on Monday night.
On coming out flat in the first half:
"It's been a tough emotional road for us over the past week. We put
our heart and soul into the games against College of Charleston and
Virginia Tech and we didn't come away successful. As a result, we
came out flat tonight and didn't play with a lot of emotion. It was
a little dangerous for us at different points tonight."
On what was said in the halftime locker room:
"In the (halftime) locker room, I said nothing. We had some key
guys on are team step up and take leadership for the first time
tonight in the locker room, and that makes me very proud. That's
something we can carry over into the next game and hopefully the
rest of the season."
On the challenge presented by Southeastern:
"Southeastern is a very good team, much better than people think.
They have some guys that are every bit as skilled as our guys, just
a little undersized. They made it close in the 1st half but we
really stepped it up in the 2nd half, and that was great."
On the career night by Jamarco Warren:
"Jamarco led us tonight not only with his points, but also with his
actions. That was a phenomenal performance by him to say the least,
and we're very proud of him. More than his 37 points, I'm happy
with the way he lead us."
On taking a week off before the Auburn game:
"We're really looking forward to having some time to relax and
spend with out families. We haven't had a day off since October 15,
so it will be good for us to get some time to rest."
