CHARLESTON, S.C. - Postgame quotes from Charleston Southern Head Coach Barclay Radebaugh are available after his team's 95-85 win over VMI on Thursday night.

On the upcoming conference tournament:
"No team should be excluded from their conference tournament. It's not fair to the kids. That's something I believe the Big South needs to adjust. That was hard for us last year, not making the tournament."

On coming back from an early eight-point deficit:
"We tinkered with our line-up a bit and got some calm guys into the game. Then, we started to execute our game plan. The plan I shared before the game works. That means sticking with VMI's three-point shooters, seeking out lay-ups and shooting free throws. You can't take quick shots against VMI; that's what they want you to do. So the last 33 minutes of the game we executed our game plan and won the game."

On the way his team dominated VMI around the basket:
"Kelvin (Martin) was 7-for-13 from the floor and Kenny (Mitchell) was 9-for-12. That's because they were taking high percentage shots. But you have to be patient to get those. And our team was tonight."

On other facets of the team's play that led to the win:
"We had 18 assists tonight and 17 offensive rebounds. That's winning basketball right there. That's quality basketball. That happened because we executed our game plan."

On Kelvin Martin's rank in the Big South Conference:
"Kelvin is one of the five most influential game-changers in our league. You have to mention him as one of the best players in the league. When you start talking about 1st team All-Conference player, if you don't mention Kelvin Martin, you are making a mistake. He's one of the top five players in our league."
