Bucs 11th through two rounds at the General Hackler Invitational

Murrells Inlet, S.C. - The Charleston Southern Buccaneers are 11th after two rounds of the 2013 General Hackler, played Monday in windy conditions at the TPC at Myrtle Beach.

The Bucs fired a two-round 636 and trail Middle Tennessee State by six strokes. Both teams shot a 319 in the opening round, the Bucs fired a 317 in the second round on Monday.

Arkansas (582) leads the tournament at 6-over through two rounds. The Hogs sit two strokes ahead of Kent State (584) and seven strokes ahead of Tennessee (589). Host Coastal Carolina (605) is fourth.

The Bucs' Jarrett Swan is tied for 31st after a 77 and a 78 in his opening two rounds. He had eight birdies over his two rounds, but had bogeys on four of his final six holes of the day.

CSU's Ross Thomson is tied for 41st after a 78 and an 80 for a 158 (+14) on the day. Thomson had no birdies in his first round, but had a 37 (+1) on his final nine of the day with three birdies.

CSU's Jason Sauder, playing in his first tournament of the spring, had a 78 to open the day and had a 37 (+1) on his closing nine in the first round, but struggled to an 84 in his second round. He is 51st.

CSU's Choo Teck Ng bounced back from an 86 to open the day, before shooting a 78 on his afternoon round. Nicolas Baena is 61st after an 86 and an 81.

The final round begins on Tuesday morning.
