JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Charleston Southern shot a team 324 in Tuesday's final round to finish 11th at the 2014 UNF Intercollegiate, played at the Jacksonville Golf and COuntry Club.  
CSU's total of 973 left the Buccaneers seven strokes back of Southern Illinois and James Madison, which tied for ninth. Western Carolina won the event with a three-round total of 919, 11 shots ahead of Daytona State and 14 in front of host North Florida. 
Senior Torey Johnson's 77 (+5) was the Bucs' best round of the day, helping her to finish just outside of the Top 10 in 11th.. She had a stretch of 10 holes on which she was only 1-over par. 
Fellow-senior Vanessa Jay shot CSU's second-best score with an 81 (+9) and had a 38 on her opening nine. She finished 22nd. 
Freshman Shelby Thompson shot an 82 (+10) and birdied the par-4 15th hole, while Bella Johnson closed with an 86. 
Senior Jordan Hollinshead had a team-high two birdies in her 84. 
CSU returns to action March 16-17 at the Pinehurst Invitational. College of Charleston hosts the event, which will be played on the No. 1 Course at Pinehurst.
