CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern volleyball team swept Gardner-Webb this Friday night for the second time this season after hitting a season high .352 as a team.

The Bucs took the first set with ease as Rachel Feggler and Paige Reagor each tallied three kills. Charleston Southern hit .258 in the opening set while holding GWU to -.030 thanks to four blocks by the trio of Macey LaPorte, Paige Reagor and Brooke Monssen. 
 
The second and third set would be a bit of a back and forth battle with the Bucs coming out on top, 25-23 and 25-16. As a unit, the Bucs talllied nine total blocks and seven service aces in the win.

Emilee Karelse hit back to back aces in the third set and finished with three total to pair with 15 assists. Reagor hit more effective than any hitter on the floor, tallying nine kills on 14 attempts with a .643. The Bucs improve to 12-10 overall and 4-4 in the Big South.
