ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Charleston Southern volleyball team rounded out their 2019 season after suffering a quarterfinal loss at the hands of the Campbell Camels on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a back and forth first set, the Camels were able to pull away and finish off the first set with a 25-18 win. Brooke Monssen got off to a hot start tallying five kills on nine attacks in the first, outhitting both teams. The Camels would go on to take the remaining two sets. Naiomi Rivera tied her career high three aces in the loss to Campbell. Monssen would go on to finish the match with eight kills and she ends her career with 1054 kills. Emma Minnick recorded 23 assists, marking her sixth consecutive game with double-digit assists. Macey LaPorte aided in the offense by tallying six kills in her last game as a Buc. 

The Buccaneers finish their season 14-15 overall and 6-9 in conference play. The team will return eight players and welcome one newcomer to the squad for the 2020 campaign.
