CHARLESTON, S.C. – Fresh off being named a Big South Player of the Week for her efforts in Charleston Southern's two wins, senior guard Brennah Bretches was tabbed the College Sports Madness Player of the Week in the Big South.
Bretches averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals to lead CSU to a perfect 2-0 record inside the Buc Dome as they downed both UNC Asheville and USC Upstate by double digits.
Her efforts have helped guide the Bucs to a 3-0 start in the month of February and pulled CSU within a game of a tie for fourth in the Big South standings.
Bretches' latest accolade comes just one day after being named a Big South Co-Player of the Week.
