Bucs, Big South announce 2019 Football Television Package

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) - Charleston Southern's regular season games at Kennesaw State and at home against Hampton will be two of eight Big South contests featured on ESPN3 this season. The Buccaneers will also be live on ESPN+ for seven games as the Big South Conference announced the 2019 football television broadcast schedule on Tuesday.

CSU's home games against North Carolina A&T, Savannah State, and Monmouth will all be featured on ESPN+, while road games at North Alabama, Gardner-Webb, and Presbyterian will also be carried live via ESPN+. The regular season finale against Campbell will be slated for a network at a later date.

The Bucs' September 7 game at South Carolina has already been announced to be carried live on the SEC Network. The road game at Furman will be an ESPN3 broadcast. The Bucs game at The Citadel is still to be determined, but will be likely carried on ESPN+ or ESPN3.

Overall, the Big South Conference 2019 football television broadcast schedule on ESPN3 and ESPN+ will feature at least 45 broadcasts -- eight telecasts on ESPN3 and a minimum of 37 Big South Network productions on ESPN+.

The Big South's ESPN3 "Game of the Week" package begins Saturday, October 5 with Campbell hosting Presbyterian at 1 p,m. The schedule continues October 12 as preseason favorite Kennesaw State opens its Big South title defense at home against Charleston Southern and follows each week through the conclusion of the regular-season on November 23, which will be a "Wild Card" selection determined 14-21 days in advance.
