After a standstill second half, the teams went to overtime. The Bucs held an 11-7 shot advantage heading into extra time and would only allow Asheville to take one shot in overtime. The game-winning goal came from a Buccaneer free kick after the Bulldogs fouled 25 yards out. Kayla Reese was credited with her second assist after Lauren McDonald headed the ball through a pair of Bulldog defenders and successfully tapped in the ball.
