CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern women's tennis team won all six of its doubles matches and picked up an additional four in singles play to conclude play of its own tournament, the Charleston Southern Invitational, Saturday at the on-campus Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.

DECLAWING THE 'CATS
The Bucs rolled through Davidson's doubles pairs, picking up a sweep of the three contests. Laura Marti and Madalina Man handed Emma Heiderscheit and Elizabeth Truluck a 7-5 setback, while Luiza Fullana and Khyanna Singh topped Daniela Porges and Franny Shea by a 6-3 score. Indicative the results, Noa Boyd and Amila Jusufbegovic completed a 6-0 shutout against Mia Gladstone and Linden Patterson.

KNOCKING DOWN CAMPBELL
The momentum continued into two doubles contests against Big South rival Campbell. Marti and Man earned a 6-3 triumph over Rhona Cook and Marissa Pennings, while Zoe Cauthen and Tiffany Pyritz handed Anna-Marie Kopecka and Mialy Ranaivo a 6-1 loss.

SINGLES TAKES THREE AGAINST MOUNTAINEERS
In singles, all three of the Buccaneers wins were in straight sets when they faced Appalachian State. Fullana defeated Ksenia Aleshina 6-1, 6-3, while Singh matched that score with her victory over Olwyn Ryan-Bovey. Man picked up the other CSU triumph, registering a 6-0, 6-2 decision against Ellie Murphy.

ADDITIONAL MATCHES
Boyd then teamed with Jusufbegovic for a 6-2 victory over Davidson's Victoria Anyanwu and Daniela Porges. In singles, Jusufbegovic continued her solid day with a 6-2, 6-0 singles win against the Wildcats' Shea.

UP NEXT
Charleston Southern will have no time to rest, as in less than a week it will travel to Macon, Ga., for the Mercer Invitational.
