Stillwater, Ok. –
Micah Gilpatric and
Alan Deogracias topped the Buccaneers' lineup in Saturday's Weis-Crockett Invitational. The pair finished 59th and 61st, respectively, in a challenging field of 241 runners.
Gilpatric completed the 8K course in 24:39 with Deogracias right behind him at 24:40. CSU's top five finished within the same 1:11, as
Gavin Kuhlenbeck (25:18),
Tom Joyce (25:29), and
Caleb Kenyon (25:50) rounded out CSU's scoring runners, all under 26 minutes.
Jaden Kingsley,
Jordan Smith, and
Sam Waldin also ran for the Bucs, with the latter two competing in their first collegiate 8K's.
#25 ranked Montana State narrowly beat #29 California Baptist, 62-63. Charleston Southern finished 20th with 502 points ahead of Kansas, Saint Louis, and Nebraska.
