CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern women's tennis again stayed perfect at home with a statement 7-0 win over visiting North Carolina A&T Saturday afternoon at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center to Open Big South play. The Bucs took the doubles point before finishing the sweep, taking all six flights in the singles competition.

The match started with Charleston Southern (4-2) taking the doubles point as
Noa Boyd and
Amila Jusufbegovic won 6-2 in the first flight and
Madalina Man and
Khyanna Singh cruised to a 6-1 result in the second flight.

In singles play, The Bucs took the remaining six points over North Carolina A&T (0-1) to earn their second 7-0 sweep of the season with the other coming against South Carolina State earlier in the year.

Charleston Southern's win over North Carolina A&T stands as the first for either team in the series.Â

The Bucs now look forward to their third match in as many days, as Head Coach
Anca Dumitrescu's side heads to Columbia to take on South Carolina. The non-conference affair is slated for a 3 p.m. start at the Carolina Tennis Center.
