HAMPTON, VA. – Charleston Southern women's tennis earned its first road victory of the season, completing the 7-0 sweep of Hampton early Monday morning. The win marks the 12^th-straight regular season Big South victory for CSU.  
 
The match started with Charleston Southern (6-3, 3-0 Big South) making quick work of the doubles competition, taking the first two flights 6-1, while Madalina Man and Khyanna Singh were the first to finish at the third doubles flight with a 6-0 result.
 
Singles went the way of the Bucs as well, as Hampton (0-6, 0-4 Big South) was unable to get a point at any singles flight. Man won in straight sets at the first singles flight, and Singh, Tiffany Pyritz, Zoe Cauthen and Kassandra Di Staulo all followed suit with straight-set wins. Amila Jusufbegovic clinched the sweep at the third singles flight, winning the third-set tiebreak 10-5 after dropping the first set.
 
Charleston Southern's win Monday morning evens the overall series at three apiece, with the Bucs taking each of the last three. The win also stands as the first in Hampton, Virginia in two tries.
 
The Bucs now turn their focus back to the non-conference side of things as they play host to Mercer Wednesday, March 9 at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center. The action is set to start at 10:00 a.m.
