HOUSTON, TX - The Charleston Southern men's golf team competed along with 20 other teams in the All-American Intercollegiate on March 20-21. The tournament was held in Humple Texas and hosted by the University of Houston.
The Bucs placed 18
th out of 21 with a total score of 907. They started out with a 304 in the first round, a 306 in the second round and finished with a team-best 297 in round three. They were +43 to par.
Ben Carroll was the only CSU golfer to finish in the top 50, placing 48
th in the tournament. Through three rounds, he finished with a total score of +7. He was +3 in rounds one and three and +1 in the second round.
David Amm and
Dewi John both finished second on the Bucs, tying for 86th with a +15 score.
Next Up
The Bucs competed in the Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, N.C. this week and will round out the 2023 spring season in Spartanburg, S.C. competing in the Wofford Intercollegiate on April 3-4.
