CHARLESTON – Women's Tennis announced the addition of Amike Botha for the 2025-2026 season on the 2024 National Signing Day on Wednesday, November 13.
 
Amika will join the Buccaneers and be reunited with her older sister, Carlé, who is currently a freshman in the program. She is originally from Pretoria, South Africa.
 
So far during her amateur career, she was ranked within the top two for doubles and top ten for singles in the country. Additionally, she was part of the South Africa Schools Team. Along with these honors, she has played in many tournaments around South Africa advancing to the quarterfinals of many of these during her career.
