CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern released their outdoor track & field schedules on Monday morning. They have seven regular season meets on the books with them scheduled to compete in at least four different states this spring.
 
The Buccaneers will start their outdoor season at the University of South Carolina with the Weems Baskin Invitational from March 21-22. Following this, they will head to N.C. State to compete at the Raleigh Relays between March 27-29.
 
April will be the busiest month of the year for the Buccaneers as they have five meets scheduled for them. They will first head down to the University of Florida from April 4-5 for the Florida Relays. Following this, they will split up the team and send a group to compete at the Duke Invitational between April 10-12 and another to the Gamecock Opener on April 12. The regular season will wrap up with meets at the Georgia Tech Invite between April 18-19 and Charlotte Invitational from April 25-26.
 
This year's Big South Championships will be held by UNC Asheville and last from Monday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 14. At last year's championship meet, the Buccaneer women finished as the runners-up at the meet while the men were third.
 
The postseason continues with the NCAA East Regionals which will be held in Jacksonville, Florida by the University of North Florida from May 28-31 with student-athletes vying for spots in the NCAA Championships from June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
