"There is no substitute for the feeling of winning in our sport," said Metts. "I am proud of the girls for coming out swinging from the first tee shot. We will enjoy this one, but we have higher goals and more work to do."
This is Charleston Southern's first regular-season tournament win since being victorious in two of their first three tournaments to start the 2022 fall season. They won the Edisto Island Invitational and the Buccaneer Classic in Oct. of 2022. The Bucs have one more tournament before the Big South Championships, as they head to Greenville, N.C. on April 1 and 2 to compete in the Ironwood Invitational hosted by East Carolina at the Ironwood Country Club.
