CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern football season tickets are now on sale for the 2024 season as the Buccaneers are looking to build off their first year under Head Coach Gabe Giardina. The 2024 campaign will mark the second season under Giardina as the team went an impressive 4-2 at Buccaneer Field a season ago.
 
The 2024 home schedule features five home games including the season opener against crosstown rival The Citadel on Saturday, August 31 at 6 p.m. Last time these teams squared off was in 2021 with CSU taking the road victory 38-21 in front of a crowd of over 10,000 people.
 
The rest of the year includes a pair of Big South-OVC Association games in October and November each. The Bucs will host Western Illinois on October 5 and Southeast Missouri State on October 19. Each of these matchups will mark the first-ever meetings between these programs.
 
Following this, the Bucs will host Gardner-Webb and UT Martin on back-to-back weekends on November 2 and 9. The game with the Runnin' Bulldogs will be the inaugural North/South BBQ Bowl as the two schools will begin their official rivalry.

Charleston Southern Athletics will continue with its Clear Bag Policy for inside the stadium, which states that approved bags and cushions may not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", a 1 gallon (or smaller) re-sealable clear plastic freezer bag, a small clutch purse no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" and a seat cushion no bigger than 16" and without arms or pockets are all that will be permitted inside the stadium.
