CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern women's golfer Katie Stephens has been named the Big South Women's Golfer of the Week for events played the final week of the fall season, it was announced today.
 
Stephens was the medalist at the Fripp Island Intercollegiate with a 2-under par 214 (69-74-71). The Middlesbrough, England native won by four strokes, and led the field with 13 birdies, as well as in par-3 scoring (tied at even), par-4 scoring (4.08) and par-5 scoring (4-under). Stephens helped the Buccaneers win the team title.
