Charleston Southern's Noa Boyd has been named the Big South Player of the Week after a clutch performance in the Bucs' win over UNC Asheville, going unbeaten in both singles and doubles play.
Boyd delivered a gritty comeback in singles on Court 3, rallying for a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory to clinch the overall match for CSU. Earlier in the day, she teamed up in doubles to secure a tight 7-6 (7-5) win, helping the Bucs take the doubles point and setting the tone for the afternoon.
This marks Charleston Southern's fourth Player of the Week honor this season, as Boyd joins Carlé Botha, Amilia Jusufbegovic, and Brenda Yoris on the growing list of award recipients.
