CHARLESTON – Charleston Southern Athletics announced on Thursday morning that Saturday's game against South Carolina State is entirely sold out with the standing room only tickets for the game no longer available as well. For fans who did purchase a standing room only ticket are allowed and encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to the contest to sit in the grass sections around the fencing of the field.
On Saturday, the tailgate lots are opening at 1 p.m. followed by the ticket windows at 4 p.m. and the gates at 4:30 p.m.
The game will serve as the Goose Creek Lowcountry Appreciation Day. Additionally, the first 500 fans through the gates will receive a limited edition CSU t-shirt.
Charleston Southern Athletics will continue with its Clear Bag Policy for inside the stadium, which states that approved bags and cushions may not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", a 1 gallon (or smaller) re-sealable clear plastic freezer bag, a small clutch purse no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" and a seat cushion no bigger than 16" and without arms or pockets are all that will be permitted inside the stadium.
As of now, third party ticket companies still have tickets available to sell, but all CSU ticket partner companies have no more left to be sold.
The kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. with the game to be available live on ESPN+ with Jack Delongchamps and Ford Werness on the call.
