CHARLESTON – Thursday night, Charleston Southern returned to their home floor inside Buccaneer Fieldhouse for a 7:00 PM match-up with the Radford Highlanders. Radford would win the contest in regulation, 84-75.
The first basket of the evening would be a Jacob Taylor three-pointer, but unfortunately for the Buccaneers, the team would only hit one other long-range attempt the rest of the second-half – finishing the period 2-of-18 (11%). CSU would enter the halftime locker room down a dozen, 44-32.
The Bucs would outscore the Highlanders in half number two (43-40), but it would not be enough to close the gap caused by early shooting struggles – CSU losing their sixth straight contest, 84-75.
