CHARLESTON, SC - The Charleston Southern softball team concluded play at the Elon/UNCG tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Bucs fell to Indiana 9-0 and to Elon 8-0.
GAME ONE
Indiana jumped out to an early lead to secure the win in game one.
Charleston Southern recorded two hits in the opening inning as
Harper Schoeneweis singled to the left side of the infield, followed by a base hit from
Jordyn Dimond. The Hoosiers were able to limit the Bucs' opportunities the rest of the way.
Brenna Conley got the start in the circle, tossing 1.2 innings and recording two strikeouts.
Kinsey Clopton provided relief, working 3.1 innings in the circle.
GAME TWO
Elon built momentum early and maintained control throughout the contest, limiting the Bucs' offensive opportunities.
Conley made her second start of the day, pitching five innings with two strikeouts.
Gianna Deluco entered in relief, facing four batters to finish the game.

Charleston Southern will be back at home on Friday, March 6, to host Bowling Green at 4:00 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN+.
