LEXINGTON, KY – Charleston Southern Women's Track and Field will conclude their time at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday which is hosted by the University of Kentucky. The Buccaneers will be taking part in three events on the final day.
The top 12 finishers in each event at the conclusion of the week will advance to the NCAA Championships which will be held in Eugene, Oregon from June 10-13.
There will be coverage of the event tonight beginning at 5 p.m. on ESPN+. Additionally, live results will be available on flashresults.com throughout the week.
MAEVA TAHOU – TRIPLE JUMP FIRST ROUND – SATURDAY @ 6:00 PM
100M HURDLES QUARTERFINALS – SATURDAY @ 6:15 PM
Tahou is continuing one of the best seasons in Charleston Southern athletics history after scoring 40 points during the conference indoor championships and 50.5 at the conference outdoor championships. She won the 100m hurdles at the meet with a time of 13.25, just off her previous career best of 13.24 which was the school record she set at the Charlotte Invite which was the regular season finale and ranks third in conference history. She enters the meet as the #29 seed in the East region and as the #50 national seed. In the first round, she ran a time of 13.17 for 20
th overall in the field for a new personal best and school record to move ahead to Saturday's national quarterfinals.
In the triple jump, she enters the meet with coming off a conference championship in the event as well. She recorded a 13.34m for a new school record and conference record. This places her at #8 in the East region and #21 nationally. She will be jumping in the fourth and final flight in the event this evening.

Caroline Aslerin claimed the Big South Championship earlier this month in the event. They were just off their season best time as they recorded a 3:34.61 which marked a facility and meet record. Earlier this spring, they ran a 3:34.38 in the regular season finale at the Charlotte Invitational which marked a new school record and the second-fastest time in league history, just three-tenths of a second off the conference record.
