CHARLESTON – The Charleston Southern women's soccer team and head coach Jose Gomez have unveiled the 2026 schedule, featuring 17 regular-season matches, 9 home contests, and eight conference matchups.

The slate includes five non-conference home matches, several in-state rivalries, and a challenging conference schedule as the Buccaneers look to position themselves for a strong postseason run.

2026 Schedule Breakdown

The Buccaneers open the preseason at home on August 8 when they welcome lowcountry rival College of Charleston to CSU Soccer Field for an exhibition match. Five days later, CSU travels to Conway for an in-state matchup against Coastal Carolina on August 13 to begin the 2026 campaign.

Charleston Southern returns home on August 16 to host Jacksonville before continuing its homestand against Central Michigan on August 20 and Columbia College on August 22.

The Bucs close out August with their second road contest of the season, traveling to North Carolina to face Campbell on August 27.

September begins with a home match against Furman on September 6, giving Charleston Southern another opportunity to take on a fellow South Carolina program. The Bucs then hit the road for consecutive matches against The Citadel on September 10 and Elon on September 13.

Big South play opens on September 19 as Charleston Southern travels to Rock Hill to face Winthrop. Four days later, the Buccaneers host USC Upstate in their conference home opener on September 23 before welcoming Gardner-Webb to Charleston on September 26.

The Bucs continue conference competition in October with road trips to Longwood on October 3 and Presbyterian on October 10. Charleston Southern returns home on October 13 for a Senior Day matchup against South Carolina State.

Conference play resumes on October 17 when the Buccaneers host Radford. CSU then wraps up its road schedule on October 28 with a trip to face the defending champion High Point.

Charleston Southern concludes the regular season on November 1, hosting UNC Asheville in its final Big South match of the year.

The Big South Championship will take place November 5-15 with matches taking place at the higher seed's home field.
