CHARLESTON – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic teams and All-Academic athletes for the 2026 track and field season on Monday afternoon. Each of the Buccaneers track & field programs earned All-Academic distinction and five female student-athletes were selected as All-Academic athletes.
 
The Buccaneers' women's team ended the year with 3.56 GPA. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the squad has received this award. Caroline Aslerin, Zemaya Carson, Maya Clark, Brenda du Toit and Maeva Tahou all received All-Academic distinctions. All five of them advanced to the NCAA Regionals at a minimum, including Tahou going to the NCAA Championships in the long jump and triple jump, earning First-Team All-American accolades in both.
 
In order to qualify for the award, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
