CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced the Presidential Honor Roll recipients for the 2025-26 academic year on Wednesday afternoon. Charleston Southern had 225 student-athletes named to the list for a percentage of 71.40. To be named on the Big South Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the recently completed academic year. As a department, the Buccaneers finished the academic year with a 3.39 for a school record. This marked the fourth consecutive year that the department GPA has been broken.
The Big South 77.49% of the eligible student-athletes across the entire conference earn Presidential Honor Roll distinction which is the second-highest average in school history. There were 25 from Charleston Southern that earned the Commissioner's Award which is given to anyone who achieves a 4.0 GPA across the whole year.
