2013 Outdoor: Won the hammer throw at the Palmetto Classic (3/8) with a 53.55 meter throw…Finished 4th in both the shot put and the hammer throw at the UNF North Florida Invitational (3/30)…Placed 4th in the hammer throw at the Big South Track & Field Championships (4/18-20), thanks to a throw of 55.03 meters.
2012-13 Indoor: Earned a 2nd place finish in the weight throw at the Wake Forest Invitational (1/19), with a throw of 16.27 meters…Set a season-high with a 16.71 meter throw in the weight throw and a 7th place finish at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/8-9)…Finished 6th in both the shot put and the weight throw at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/21-22).
2012 Outdoor: Set a then career-best in the hammer throw at the Palmetto Classic (3/9), earning a 2nd place finish with a throw of 49.84 meters…Finished 9th in both the hammer throw and the shot put at the UNF North Florida Invitational (3/30-31).
2011-12 Indoor: Finished 10th in the weight throw at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/10-11) with a distance of 16.86 meters…Took 6th in the weight throw at the Big South Conference Championship (2/24-25) with a distance of 16.24 meters, and 12th in the shot put with a throw of 13.42 meters.
2011 Outdoor: Finished 7th in the shot put at the Palmetto Classic (3/11) with a mark of 12.49m…Also took 11th in the discus with a mark of 31.60m at the Palmetto Classic…Finished 6th in the hammer with a mark of 44.16 at the Palmetto Classic as well…Placed 18th in the shot put at the Coastal Carolina Invitational (3/12) with a mark of 12.90m (42-4.00)…Took 21st at the Weems Baskin (3/26) in the hammer with a mark of 40.30m…Placed 13th in the shot put with a mark of 13.50m (44-7.50) at the Big South Outdoor Championships (4/21-4/23).
2010-11 Indoor: Took 20th in the shot put with a mark of 13.03m (42-9) at the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational (1/21-1/22)…Finished 4th at the Gamecock Open (1/26) in the weight throw with a mark of 13.98m…Also placed 8th in the shot put at the Gamecock Open with a mark of 12.66m (41-6.5)…Took 15th at the Big South Indoor Championships (2/24-2/25) with a mark of 13.36m (43-10.5) in the shot put…Also placed 14th in the weight throw at the Big South Indoor Championships with a mark of 14.91m (48-11.0).
High School: Lettered three years in track, earning two more letters on the football field … placed second in the region in the shot put and at the Charleston County Championship, and placed third in the discus at the CCC … named a scholar-athlete and earned a spot on the honor roll … also earned the Captain Richard G. Cliff Memorial Scholarship, the Moultrie High School Reunion Scholarship and the Todd Carter Memorial Scholarship … named the Scout Offensive MVP and earned the FCA Leadership award.
Personal: Son of Linda and Rodney German … majoring in criminal justice at CSU with hopes of becoming an FBI CSI agent.
