High School: Kohler comes to the Bucs by way of Paducah, Ky., where she lined up at Paducah Tilghman High School under Coach Roderick Thomas. She also played at both the point and shooting guard positions on the Team Slink club team under coaches John McGraw and Trevor Goodson.

Kohler was already a four year letter-winner entering her senior year having played on the varsity squad since eighth grade. This past season, she averaged 16 points per game and four assists per game in earning team MVP honors. She was a three-time All-District selection and has been named to the 2013 and 2014 Region 1 All-Tournament teams. She was also named to the 2014 All-Purchase Basketball Team.

Off the court, Kohler was a standout soccer player and was a four-time All-District and three-time All-Region selection at Paducah Tilghman. She is the daughter of Tom and Liz Kohler.
