2013
(Fr.): One of five players to start all 20 matches on the season, lining up at defender for the Bucaneers…Second on the team with 1,727 minutes played as a true freshman…Attempted her first collegiate shot on Sept. 28 against Radford…Played over 100 minutes on three separate occasions on the season including 110 on Sept. 15 in the 0-0 tie against Georgia Southern…Played 101 minutes in the season-opener against College of Charleston…100 minutes on Oct. 26 against Gardner-Web…Tied for fourth on the team with 906 minutes played in Big South action on the season.
High School: Schoning comes to Charleston, S.C. by way of Hilton Head Island and Hilton Head Island High School, where she lined up at center defender for the Seahawks.
She was a member of the 2011 and 2012 S.C. State Championship steams and was a key part in the team’s defensive line, leading the squad to 18 shutouts out of 21 games in 2011-2012 and 16 shutouts in 21 games in 2010-2011. She was a two-time All-Region selection and served as a team captain in her senior season. In club play with S.C. United, she was named the 2011 Outstanding Player of the Year and was a member of the 2012 State Championship team and 2011 finalist team. She was also a member of the Disney Soccer Showcase Champions team in 2012. She also participated in the S.C. ODP in 2008 and 2011.
