High School: Competed under Coach Frank Williams at Harding University High School..Owens posted solid event marks during her high school career, and will add valuable depth for the Buccaneers. Her personal bests include 57.60 (400m), 41.78 (300m) and 25.82 (200m)...Was a A, AA, and AAA indoor state medalist, finishing 2nd in the 500-meter dash and 4th in the 300-meter.

Personal: Daughter of Latoya and Christopher Owens...Also competed on the dance team in high school...Graduated from international baccalaureate program with a 3.5 GPA...Is pursuing a nursing degree at CSU.

2014 Outdoor: Took 20th place in the 400-meter dash at the UNF Spring Break Invitational, running in 1:01.03...Part of CSU team that won the 4x400 meter relay at the Palmetto Classic Track & Field Invitational, running in 4:08.43.

2014 Indoor: Competed as part of Bucs'' 4x400 meter relay squad that finished second at the Joe Hilton Invitational.
