High School: Competed under coach Helen Downey at Bishop Tonnos High School...Was a GHAC and South Regional champion in 100 and 200-meter during her high school career...Won the Burlington Track Award....Competed in nationals and Pan-Am trials...Named female athlete of the year at Bishop Tonnos following her senior year...Top times of career were 24.98 in the 200-meter, 12.10 in the 100-meter, and 7.88 in the 60-meter...Also competed in figure skating, cheerleading and volleyball. 

Personal: Daughter of Anthony and Suzana Simpson...Plans to major in criminal justice, with a minor in business administration, at CSU.
