• Fourth in the hammer throw at the Lowcountry Invitational (37.99m)

High School: Threw shot put and discus at T.C. Williams High School under coach Rodney Johnson...Was a VHSL 6A state champion in 2015 and 2016...Named Alexandria Sportmen''s Club Track & Field Athlete of the Year in 2015...Had personal bests of 43'' 11.25" in shot put, and 130'' 6.25" in discus. 

Personal: Daughter of Saprina Shomari...Plans to major in kinesiology at CSU...Also starred in volleyball, picking up 1st team-all conference honors and honorable mention all-region accolades in 2015...Was a 2nd team all-conference selection in volleyball in 2014...Mother, Saprina, played volleyball at Washington College.
