High School: Enjoyed a stellar high school career under coach Al Rodd at Andersonville...Ranked 14th nationally in discus with USATF....Was named team MVP twice...Best throws of career were a 35'' 7.5'''' effort in shot put, and a 126'' 6" distance in discus...Finished fifth in the state in discus as a junior and a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Chris and Janet McCoy...Also played volleyball at Andersonville...Father, Chris, played football at Carson-Newman University...Brother, Trey, played football at Tusculum College.
