• Fifth in the triple jump (11.41m) and 10th in the high jump (1.43m) at the Big South Outdoor Championships

High School: Versatile athlete excelled in long jump, triple jump, high jump, 100-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash under coaches Kevin Rhue and William Brumage at Princess Anne High School...Team MVP of indoor and outdoor teams as a senior...Best marks included 18-10.5 in long jump, 38-7 in triple jump, 5-3 in high jump, 16.07 in 100-meter hurdles, 12.75 in 100 and 26.14 in 200.

Personal: Daughter of Lynnell and Sammie Gibson...Member of honor roll, principal''s list, and received an advanced diploma in high school...Also competed in cheerleading at Princess Anne High School...Plans to major in biochemistry at CSU...Sister, Dionne Gibson, was a two-time All-American at CSU and is member of the Bucs'' Athletic Hall of Fame.
