Jordan Griffin joined the Charleston Southern football staff in the summer of 2019 after a four-year playing career at Vanderbilt University. Griffin lined up in 49 career games with the Commodores starting at inside linebacker.
Griffin posted one of his best years in his senior season with 62 solo tackles and 119 total stops, including career-high 18 tackles against both Kentucky and Florida. He also added 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, one interception, and two fumble recoveries.
Griffin became a starter on the Commodores’ defense as a sophomore and added five late season starts in 2017 on his way to finishing second among the team leaders in tackles, solo tackles, and tackles for loss.
A Tampa, Fla. native, Griffin will assist with the Buccaneers football staff this season as needed.
