High School: Put together a strong career as high jumper and long jumper under coach Dion Holmes at Mauldin High School...Two-time National Elite selection as a high jumper, and won the AAAA state championship in the event as a senior...A two-time county field MVP, two-time region champion in both the high jump and long jump...Holds Mauldin school records in high jump and long jump with personal bests of 6'' 10" and 21'' 11.75" in respective events.

Personal: Son of Desmond and Valerie Thomas...Also played basketball in high school...Plans on majoring in kinesiology at CSU.
