• Season-high three blocked shots (Nov. 16 against Paine, Nov. 24 against Columbia International)
• Played 30 games off the bench as a freshman

High School: Saunders joins the Bucs from Conyers, Ga., where she lined up at forward and center at Stephenson High School under Head Coach Dennis C. Watkins. She also lined up for the Georgia Hoopstars underneath Coaches Latoya Brown and J.D. Davis.

During her time at Stephenson, Saunders was a key member of the team''s run to the 6A Georgia State Championship this season. The 6-3 athlete averaged six points per game, seven rebounds per game, one block per game and just underneath an assist per game throughout her high school career. She also received the Coaches'' Award from Stephenson.

Off the courts, she received the Sports Medicine Pathway completion and was named to the A/B Honor Roll and Principal''s List. She plans on majoring in Kinesiology and Psychology. She is the daughter of Jenine Jones.
